ANNA THYS products are suitable for sensitive, reactive or fragile skin.
Our formulas are developed without fragrance and without intentionally added regulated allergens. They combine biotechnological actives known for their high skin tolerance, helping to minimise the risk of irritation.
They may also be suitable for skin prone to atopic tendencies, notably thanks to gentle, non-occlusive textures designed to respect the skin barrier.

Comedogenicity is not a concept defined by cosmetic regulations. There is currently no officially recognised standardised method that can objectively demonstrate whether an ingredient or product “clogs pores”.
Older rating scales originate from animal studies, particularly on rabbit ears, and do not always reflect human skin reality.
For this reason, ANNA THYS adopts a cautious formulation approach:
- no ingredients identified in the literature as highly comedogenic (such as isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, heavy lanolin, etc.),
- light textures designed to promote comfort and skin compatibility,
- carefully controlled concentrations aimed at limiting the risk of occlusion,
- cosmetic systems designed to preserve the balance between sebum and keratin.
Therefore, while no brand can claim “non-comedogenicity” in a strictly demonstrated regulatory sense, ANNA THYS formulates its products with the aim of minimising the potential risk of pore obstruction.
Our formulas do not contain ingredients that are generally discouraged as a precaution during these periods (such as retinoids or essential oils).
However, as every pregnancy is unique, we recommend, as a precaution, showing the INCI list to your healthcare professional if you have any doubts or particular sensitivities.
All our products display a best before date, indicated on the packaging.
Until this date, the product retains its safety, stability and performance when stored under normal conditions of use and storage.
To preserve the formula as well as possible, we recommend keeping the product away from excessive heat, humidity and direct light.
Our skincare products are packaged in biophotonic glass bottles, a material designed to filter certain wavelengths of light and help protect sensitive active ingredients.
Once opened, the product can be used under normal hygienic conditions until the indicated best before date.
Slight natural variations in scent or colour may occur without affecting the product’s quality, safety or tolerance.

Our formulas do not contain allergenic ingredients declared under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 Annex III and (EU) 1545/2023.
We use no fragrance, essential oils or intentionally added ingredients that appear on the list of regulated allergens.

Yes. Our products are certified by The Vegan Society.
This certification confirms that, according to their criteria:
- no animal-derived ingredients are used in our formulas,
- neither the finished product nor its ingredients are tested on animals, whether by the manufacturer, its suppliers or third parties,
- the development and formulation of the products involve no animal testing carried out by the brand or on its behalf,
- precautions are taken to limit any risk of cross-contamination with animal-derived substances.

Our formulas do not contain ingredients intentionally derived from wheat, barley or rye.
We make every effort to select ingredients whose suppliers can certify the absence of gluten or gluten-containing cereal derivatives.

Yes. The SYMBIOSE ORIGINELLE day and night face cream contains macadamia oil (Macadamia integrifolia seed oil), derived from a tree nut.
Macadamia oil used in cosmetics is highly purified and contains extremely low levels of residual proteins. As proteins are the main triggers of food allergies, the risk of a skin reaction remains limited under normal conditions of use.
However, as allergies are highly individual, anyone with a severe allergy or any doubt is advised to consult a healthcare professional before use.
We favour full transparency so that everyone can assess the compatibility of our formulas with their skin.
No peanuts or peanut-derived ingredients are intentionally used in our formulas.
However, as with any cosmetic product manufactured within a complex supply chain, we cannot completely exclude the possibility of trace amounts resulting from raw materials or upstream processing.

ANNA THYS products do not contain ethyl alcohol (ethanol) or denatured alcohol.
The only “alcohols” present in our formulas are fatty alcohols, such as Behenyl Alcohol.
These ingredients, derived from fatty acids, are very different from alcohol in the common sense:
- they are not drying for the skin,
- they are generally well tolerated,
- they have no intoxicating effect,
- and they are not related to consumable alcohol.
For these reasons, fatty alcohols are often considered compatible with cosmetic use in many religious practices.

At ANNA THYS, we have chosen not to incorporate sun filters into our formulas.
Sunscreen products are highly specific and are strictly regulated under European legislation. They require extensive testing to ensure a measurable level of protection under standardised conditions.
In line with our values, we have also chosen not to use certain filters that are currently discussed regarding their potential impact on marine ecosystems. Although these substances are authorised and considered safe under European regulations, we prefer to adopt a cautious and responsible approach.
Instead, we focus on supporting the skin’s natural defence mechanisms, helping the skin cope with everyday environmental factors. This approach relies on targeted biotechnological actives that support skin renewal and help the skin better manage oxidative stress.
This approach does not replace the use of a dedicated sunscreen.
For prolonged or intense sun exposure, we recommend applying a sunscreen product that complies with current European standards.
Our formulas are developed without palm oil or palm-derived ingredients, without synthetic sun filters, without silicones, without sulfates (SLS/SLES), without PEGs, without mineral oils, without parabens, without phthalates, BHT or BHA.
These choices reflect a formulation approach consistent with our values of naturality, ethics and high skin tolerance.
At ANNA THYS, the exclusion of certain ingredients is not based on the idea that they are unsafe.
All ingredients authorised under European regulations have undergone safety assessments and are considered safe when used under normal conditions.

Our formulas are based on ingredients of natural and/or agro-based origin, selected for their quality, traceability and affinity with the skin, in accordance with the principles of the COSMOS Standard v.3.1.
We choose to exclude certain petrochemical-derived raw materials that are often debated in the cosmetic field, such as mineral oils, silicones, synthetic polymers, parabens or PEGs.
In specific cases, we incorporate functional actives obtained through controlled chemical synthesis, when this is necessary to ensure the safety, stability or performance of the formulas, and when no equivalent natural alternative exists. This is notably the case for ingredients such as panthenol, recognised for its excellent skin tolerance and its contribution to soothing and maintaining the skin in good condition.
These formulation choices reflect an approach of considered naturality, grounded in science, safety and respect for the skin, with a constant commitment to transparency and high standards in the selection of our raw materials.
A biotechnological process refers to a production method that uses micro-organisms (such as yeasts or bacteria) or enzymes to obtain an active ingredient through natural mechanisms such as fermentation or enzymatic bioconversion.
Depending on the production pathways, biotechnological processes can help reduce pressure on certain plant resources.
The use of biotechnological processes, as defined by ISO 16128, allows better control over key properties in cosmetics, including:
- more controlled purity,

- improved stability,
- and better skin tolerance, particularly for sensitive skin
Biotechnology is not an alternative to natural ingredients, but rather a controlled method of transforming ingredients of natural origin, aligned with the principles of green chemistry and the preservation of natural resources.
ANNA THYS skincare products are formulated and manufactured in Belgium, in a specialised laboratory that strictly complies with the European Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
Production follows high standards of quality, traceability and safety: each formula is developed according to rigorous protocols, tested for stability and subjected to a full safety assessment before being placed on the market.
This level of rigor allows us to offer products that are safe, effective and suitable even for delicate skin.
The 1.10.100 index is an evaluation system developed by the Copaïba laboratory to estimate the potential efficacy of a cosmetic product.
Unlike simply reading an INCI list, this index takes into account both the nature of the active ingredients and their concentration within the formula.
The principle is based on a classification of actives according to the order of magnitude of concentration usually required to express cosmetic activity:
- around 10% for certain actives
- around 1% for others
- around 0.1% for the most concentrated ones
Each category is assigned a coefficient (1 – 10 – 100).
The resulting sum provides an indicative overall rating, making it easier to compare cosmetic products:
- A (300+): truly exceptional cosmetic product
- B (200–300): exceptional cosmetic product
- C (100–200): superior cosmetic product
- D (50–100): appreciable cosmetic product
- E (25–50): satisfactory cosmetic product
- F (5–25): ordinary cosmetic product
- G (0–5): basic cosmetic product
The higher the rating, the more the formula is considered to contain actives present at significant concentrations according to this methodology.

For a more targeted action on the appearance of dark circles, puffiness or expression lines, ORÉE DU REGARD is the ideal complement.
ANNA THYS skincare uses hyaluronic acid obtained through biotechnology, selected for its purity and high skin tolerance.
Its molecular weight is adjusted according to the function intended in each formula.
In SYMBIOSE ORIGINELLE, we use low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, chosen to support more diffuse hydration within the epidermis and contribute to skin suppleness and comfort.
In ORÉE DU REGARD, Sodium Hyaluronate is used in a size optimised for the delicate eye contour area, helping to visibly smooth the skin and support hydration without creating a heavy effect.
Each molecular weight provides a specific benefit:
- Low molecular weight → contributes to more even hydration, skin comfort and the maintenance of surface lipids involved in the barrier function

In accordance with European legislation, ANNA THYS cannot accept returns or issue refunds for products purchased from a third-party distributor.
Return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or clearly non-compliant, we kindly ask you to contact us within a reasonable time, ideally within 5 working days following delivery or the notification of availability.

Your payment is processed in accordance with the security standards applied by our certified payment providers.
To ensure your confidentiality, your banking information does not pass through our systems.
It is processed securely by Stripe and PayPal, in accordance with their respective security protocols.
Our platform allows payments from abroad for the countries we currently serve.
All transactions are processed according to the same security and data protection standards.
At ANNA THYS, we process each refund request with care and transparency.
When a cancellation or return complies with the conditions set out in our Terms and Conditions, the refund is issued:
- within a maximum of fourteen (14) days,
- from the date we receive the returned product or the proof of shipment provided by the customer, whichever occurs first.
The refunded amount includes:
- the price paid for the product(s),
- the initial standard delivery charges, when these have been applied.
Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer, unless the product received was defective or not in conformity with the order, in accordance with applicable legislation.
The refund is issued via the same payment method used for the purchase, with no additional fees.
For security and compliance reasons, cash refunds cannot be issued.
Your data are protected in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
They are used solely for processing your order, improving our services and — if you consent — sending ANNA THYS information.
We never sell your data and only share them with service providers strictly necessary for the functioning of the service (secure payment and delivery).
